Bringing additional pillows and blankets will make your bedroom more “homely”. Equally important is getting a mattress protector because you cannot know for sure who has slept in the bed before you. It is also a good idea to invest in a mattress topper as well because you may find some accommodations to be quite uncomfortable. But what if you do not have enough hangers? Well, taking into consideration that you will only be given a couple of hangers, you should bring some from home as well.

Bathroom fundamentals

When it comes to personal hygiene and bathroom bits, every person has different needs. What you have to make sure is that you have all the home comforts. For example, you will want to have your own towel, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel or anything else that you use on a regular basis. Don’t forget about medicine like painkillers and cold and flu remedies because they will make your life easier.
